Tell us a little about how you got started producing music? Who are some of your influences and dream collabs?
I started DJing for my college campus 16 years ago and slowly picked up music production during those years. My career has been on and off since then, but due to the pandemic, I am back stronger than ever! Being stuck inside and at home gave me the opportunity to express myself musically again and I am excited to see what is next! My influences are BTSM, The Pretty Reckless, In This Moment, Attilla, Mr Skeleton, Ankor, RainMan, SuicideBoys, My dream collab would be RainMan as a producer. But Taylor from The Pretty Reckless vocally.
Tell us about your latest release “Venom” what was it like collaborating with Samantha Bower? How did the collab happen in the first place?
My latest release venom is a dark ambient darkstep / dubstep track. It feels like you are walking through a Druid forest and you hear a voice crying out melodically. After hearing this voice you must follow it… at least that’s what I imagine while hearing the track in completion. Maybe it’s the game developer in me thinking of a cool scene to be immersed in.
Working with Samantha Bower was incredible she is an incredible vocalist based in the UK, she has an amazing track called “I Miss You” with a great music video on YouTube! Me being based in the US and her being based in the UK, the collaboration was done the true 2020 way completely online. The result was incredible! I am excited to see what the future holds for more collaborations!
Do you have more projects on the way, if so when can we expect them?
just may have another collaboration with Samantha Bower on the way! Expect them early 2021
Covid19 has really impacted the world as we know it and we doubt things will ever be the same. How has the pandemic affected you as a producer and a performing artist? Would you say it has given you the opportunity to focus on production and getting new music out there?
COVID 19 helped me to reconnect with music and expressing myself creatively, I dove into game development for the first time, and got back to producing music. While the pandemic is a negative occurrence, there are things that can be viewed as positive outcomes such as families reconnecting / spending more time together. Creative endeavors being started. Etc.
This is a question we love asking. Please tell us something about you that your fans don’t know. Surprise us
I once hung out with RainMan in the VIP tent at one of his earlier solo shows!
